Zanzibar
Zanzibar is a magnificent location famous for its white sand beaches and crystal blue water. It also is a location steeped in history, as the old Stonetown is a maze of narrow streets with whitewashed houses and magnificently carved brass-studded teak doors, quaint shops and bazaars.
Zanzibar is also famous for its spices as it once produced over 90% of the world’s cloves. While Zanzibar is mainly known for cloves, the island produce a variety of other spices such as aniseed, bay leaves, black pepper, cardamom, saffron, cumin, curry, and many more.
There are a variety of activities you can do here, and we recommend at least 3 days to truly enjoy the beauty of this island.
